The governor of Virginia declared a state of emergency in Charlottesville on Saturday after white nationalists and counter protesters clashed regarding a plan to remove a statue of a Confederate general from a nearby park. The demonstration was dubbed the “largest gathering of white nationalists in recent years,” according to the New York Times.
By Saturday evening, though, things had gotten completely out of hand. James Alex Fields is suspected of having drove his car into a crowd of counter-protesters, ultimately killing 32-year-old Heather Heyer outside of the “United the Right” rally. Two Virginia State police officers also died in a helicopter crash, as they were monitoring protests from the sky.
People are so disgusted with the actions of the alt-right activists present in Charlottesville that counter-protesters online have decided to jump in to expose them for the true white supremacists they are. According to the East Bay Times, one Berkeley, California resident lost his job as a result a Twitter user exposing his participation in “Unite the Right.”
Cole White no longer works at “Top Dog” — a fast food chain that sells hotdogs. In an email to the East Bay Times, the fast food chain’s management confirmed White no longer works for the company.
‘Effective Saturday 12th August, Cole White no longer works at Top Dog. The actions of those in Charlottesville are not supported by Top Dog. We believe in individual freedom and voluntary association for everyone.’
Twitter account @YesYoureRacist shared a photo of White and his alleged place of work, which grabbed the attention of the company.
According to reports, @YesYoureRacist has been using the hashtag #GoodNightAltRight to expose the identities of white supremacist marchers.

@YesYoureRacist also managed to expose the identity of the president of Washington State University’s College of Republicans, James Allsup. Allsup also happened to speak, openly, at the alt-right rally in Charlottesville.
‘This is James Allsup — speaker at the alt-right rally, Wash State U. College Republicans president, and one of @bakedalaska’s racist homies.’
