President Donald Trump made himself the center of attention when he refused to acknowledge the core of the violent protests in Charlottesville, Virginia. Despite his attempts at backtracking and deflecting, no one has forgot his refusal and eagerness to appease the most despicable part of his support base.
One legendary comedian came out of retirement, albeit briefly, to call him out. Former host of The Daily Show Jon Stewart was a surprise guest during a Dave Chappelle show at Radio City Music Hall, and he let Nazis and the president have it.
And yes, he called him “F*ckface Von Clownstick.”
He addressed Trump’s response to the rise in white supremacy.
‘Strange, strange times. I have to admit. I did not think – it wasn’t so much that there were Nazis. It was really the reaction by certain presidents…
To the presence of two sides? Motherfucker? There are two sides? Motherfucker? Two sides?’
Stewart went on.
‘Two sides! And I believe they are called the Allied Powers and the Axis powers. And we used to be with the Allied Powers. This motherfucker signed a treaty that I don’t think any of us knew about.’
He then regaled the audience with his previous experiences with Trump which lead Stewart to make the assumption he wasn’t so good of a guy even before he started talking about Mexican rapists and was caught talking about grabbing pu*sies.
‘But here’s some clues that he’s not a great guy. He lives in a building with his name on it in giant letters and he has a plane on it, with his name in giant letters. Good people don’t ride like that. You’re never like, “Hey, there’s the Mother Teresa Plane.” Like, that’s [INAUDIBLE] shit right there. And I’ll admit, like, I have a particular beef with him…
I don’t know why he’s running away from the Von Clownstick heritage. So he – after a heated Twitter war that lasted two nights – I never heard from him again except like a week later at 2:30 AM – and he tweets out that Jon Stewart is a pussy. Anyways, smash cut four years later, he’s our president.’
