The president is fond of two things — harshly criticizing his opponents and tweeting about pretty much everything imaginable.
On Thursday, he took to Twitter after already spending hours ranting and raving to explain just why it is that he thinks so lowly of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
‘The only problem I have with Mitch McConnell is that, after hearing Repeal & Replace for 7 years, he failed! That should NEVER have happened!’

In Trump’s world, if he thinks of you as a “failure,” then you are, basically, dead meat.
The president has carried on with his criticism of the Senate Majority Leader for weeks now. The occasion for his latest attack on the GOP leader is a series of news reports detailing an alleged August 9 phone call between the president and Senate Majority Leader that devolved into a “profane shouting match.” The men have allegedly not spoken since.
Trump has held McConnell personally responsible for the failure of the GOP efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act, but it’s not as though the president himself has brought anything — in the form of either overall competency or ideas — to the negotiating table.
As McConnell has himself publicly stated, the president simply has unrealistic expectations, which when coupled with his incompetence, makes a mess of his administration when it comes to actual policy issues.
