Mike Pence Blindsided By Weekend ‘Felony’ Crime Accusation; White House In Shambles

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has been thoroughly investigating the Russian collusion matter at all angles. Back in May, President Trump fired FBI director James Comey, who was responsible for overseeing the FBI investigation into Russian collusion with the 2016 election. This was Trump’s attempt to sweep everything under the rug and make it all go away. However, there is strong evidence that this may not work for him much longer.

Now, it seems that Mueller has information that could lead to Vice President Mike Pence’s impeachment as well. Mueller has found that there are two versions of Trump’s letter firing Comey. Mueller now has both letters in his possession and the first letter contains some scathing evidence. The New York Times reported:

‘The special counsel Robert S. Mueller III has obtained a letter drafted by President Trump and a top political aide that offered an unvarnished view of Mr. Trump’s thinking in the days before the president fired the FBI director, James B. Comey.’

It was reported by the Times that White House counsel Donald F. McGahn II opposed the letter and believed its “angry, meandering tone was problematic.” McGahn was very concerned about private conversations Trump had with Mr. Comey being detailed in the letter. Trump had composed the letter with one of his senior advisers, Stephen Miller. However, Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein drafted his own letter removing the most sensitive material.

Where Pence comes in is that he knew the contents of that first letter and helped to cover it up. He also lied on television saying the second letter had been the real reason for firing Comey. Fordham law professor Jed Shugerman went on MSNBC on Friday night saying that this really implicates Pence on multiple felonies. He also pointed out that Richard Nixon was impeached for obstruction of justice.

Harvard Law Professor Laurence Tribe posted this on Twitter:

Mueller is not playing around and before he finishes, the whole Trump administration may go up in flames. Pence covered up damning information and will soon have to answer to it along with many others who likely obstructed justice as well.
