The Obamas will never cease to be adored by many millions of Americans, no matter whether Barack is still in office or not — and concurrent to that fact, many of those who make up the president’s base will never cease to peddle ridiculous conspiracy theories about the Obama family. It’s President Trump himself who helped lead the ridiculous “birther” movement, claiming that Barack Obama might not have been born in the United States after all.
True to form, one of the president’s known favorite “news” sites — Infowars — recently plastered a story across their front page with the claim that Michelle Obama is secretly a man.
Chelsea Clinton — who should be the first daughter — responded to this ridiculousness with a well-phrased tweet, writing that “Michelle Obama is everything this site will never be-honorable, brave, beloved, beautiful,” adding that she doesn’t “need to watch an awful video to know that.”
The video that prompted her post from Infowars’ Alex Jones consisted of the well-known conspiracy peddler ranting and raving about how the former first lady “appears in photos and videos to have a very large penis in her pants,” adding that “her shoulders are wide, her face is very, very masculine. She looks like a tranny.”
Yes, he said that. Watch the ridiculous video for yourself below — and remember that just because the president claims to be against “fake news,” doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have his own private agenda to push.
Making this whole thing even worse is the fact that thanks to Trump, Jones has been able to step out a bit from the back corner of the internet where he had made his home for so long. Trump has appeared on Jones’ show before, apparently undeterred by the fact that Jones regularly peddles nonsense ranging from the famous “the government is turning the frogs gay” line to the idea that the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was a hoax.
Fox host turned wannabe mainstream journalist Megyn Kelly interviewed Jones in her new role as a reporter with NBC earlier this year, attracting widespread criticism for giving him what was viewed as undue mainstream airtime.
