Shots fired! Hillary Clinton just took aim at Trump’s attack on her book, and her reply could not be more perfect.
For some bizarre reason known only to him, Trump chose to take time out of (supposedly) running the country to tweet about Hillary, saying:
‘Crooked Hillary Clinton blames everybody (and everything) but herself for her election loss. She lost the debates and lost her direction!’
This is a clear reference to Hillary’s recently published book, “What Happened?” Her book is currently a point of political debate and contention, and is also currently #1 on Amazon under nonfiction.
Well, first, Donald, to win a debate, you’d have to be able to put together a cogent sentence, an ability which is sadly lacking with you. The only polls claiming a victory for Donald Trump were online, unscientific, and as we know now, the target of misinformation campaigns. Second, while that may be a catchy meme, this quote (and others) show it for the lie that it is: “You can blame the data, blame the message, blame anything you want—but I was the candidate. It was my campaign. Those were my decisions.” – Hillary Clinton.
Thousands of Americans immediately replied to correct Trump, but Hillary might’ve had the best reply of all, seen below:
In case you’re not familiar, “It Takes A Village” is a bestselling book written by Hillary Clinton in the 90s. It focuses on the responsibilities of a society to come together to promote the wellbeing of children. And in the tweet? Her recently released picture book version. Of course, Donald Trump doesn’t read, so it’s likely a joke lost on him. Luckily, twitter had a field day with it, with many users promptly losing their minds over the jab thrown by Hillary Clinton:
As we’re all extremely familiar with by now, when Trump feels pressure he lashes out, often projecting his insecurities, mistakes, and fears onto other people. The bigger the twitter tantrum, the more desperately he invokes the names of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, the deeper in trouble he seems to find himself. So, with this latest freakout, we really have to ask: What juicy news is about to drop?
