Donald Trump erupted over late night comedy jokes at his expense on Twitter on Saturday, railing about “equal time” laws even though that is far from how they actually work. When Jon Stewart tried to provide that equal time on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert by offering positive Trump statements to counter the negative ones, he proved just how impossible that whole idea is, and how hilarious it is to attempt.
Late Night host are dealing with the Democrats for their very "unfunny" & repetitive material, always anti-Trump! Should we get Equal Time?

Jon Stewart, standing next to Stephen Colbert as he covered the day’s Trump idiocy with “unfair slamming,” tried his best to be the “counterweight” and think of positive statements one could make about Donald Trump.
‘Can I have more time?’ Stewart asked. ‘Donald Trump. He’s not a cannibal.’
Colbert began by mentioning Trump’s recent moves to eliminate mandatory coverage for birth control, leaving many women without the help they need to prevent pregnancies and treat certain reproductive disorders.
‘Donald Trump is great to women,’ Stewart countered.
‘Great?’ Colbert asked.
‘Good,’ Stewart replied.
‘Better than Harvey Weinstein.’
Colbert played for Stewart and the audience a video of Trump’s recent and now infamous comment about this being “the calm before the storm.” Stewart broke.
‘How is all this not the storm? And what kind of a sociopath would use that terminology.’
Realizing that he was no longer providing the impossible “counterweight” to Colbert’s negative view on Trump, Stewart gave up.
‘I can’t do this.’
