When Senator Bob Corker announced he would not be seeking re-election, President Donald Trump went nuts. He accused the senator of refusing to seek re-election because Trump wouldn’t give him an endorsement. Furthermore, the New York Times recorded Corker criticizing the president and released the tape. Corker ended up owning Trump when he tweeted someone missed their shift at the adult daycare center at the White House. The feud has yet to end, however.
Trump took to Twitter early Tuesday morning to straight up insult Corker and the New York Times all in one tweet. Government efficiency at its finest, right? He tweeted:
‘The Failing @nytimes set Liddle’ Bob Corker up by recording his conversation. Was made to sound a fool, and that’s what I am dealing with!’
Of course, the president could do the presidential thing and keep his Twitter piehole shut. Then, he wouldn’t have to really deal with anything. If anything, he’s dealing with the fallout from his ridiculous response to Corker’s criticism. However, that’s wishful thinking on everyone’s part.
