It’s no secret that many Trump supporters are racists who like to spread vicious memes full of fake news and biased assertions of social media. What’s far more disturbing is that the president is totally okay with that.
In response to a Trump tweet accusing the FBI and Democrats of colluding to compile the infamous dossier of negative and even criminal allegations against him, a Trump supporter going by the handle @USArmy333 responded with unfounded Trump propaganda that ended up as a Trump retweet.
What the retweet means is that while Trump has had little time to respond to four American soldiers’ deaths in Niger, the California wildfires that have killed 42 Americans, or the growing number of American deaths in Puerto Rico due to Hurricane Maria, he certainly seems to have plenty of time to read comments on his tweets and retweet those who buy his rhetoric.
Who is “missK,” though? Aside from the likelihood that she is little more than a Russian bot – the Trumps have certainly been caught retweeting and disseminating misleading and false stories from accounts tied to Russian accounts before – what kind of supporter is she?
Her Twitter page is a horrifying look at Trump’s voters. Prepare to cringe.
She is, of course, not a big Hillary Clinton fan. Instead, she’s a fan of debunked conspiracy theories about Hillary Clinton, theories that have already nearly gotten people killed. Some of her memes and statements about Clinton go far over the line of hatred into the seriously disgusting.
Considering missK’s endless talk of respect for fellow service members on her Twitter page, she doesn’t believe Sen. John McCain – who dares to challenge President Trump – deserves any. In fact, she prefers conspiracy theories about him, too.
There are, of course, also the obligatory support for guns and more guns, all with not-so-veiled threats to liberals and those advocating for gun control attached.
However, what stands out most on her Twitter feed, and the Twitter feeds of far too many Trump supporters, are the blatant racism involved in her posts about the Black Lives Matter movement and anything having to do with people of color.
These are the people voting for Trump. Frightened enough yet?
