It’s no surprise that Donald Trump cannot handle criticism without lashing out. As always, his favorite method for lame attempts at insulting those who disagree with or speak out about him is on his Twitter page for the whole world to see.
While Trump did throw in a tweet about the Christopher Steele dossier and the non-bombshell report that both Republicans and Democrats paid for the opposition research to occur, Trump in very un-Trump-like fashion did not attempt to turn it into a bigger story than it actually is (he has his son, Trump Jr., for that, who has turned the report into everything from collusion with Russia by Hillary to illegal wiretapping of his father by Obama, neither of which are even close to the truth).
Instead, Trump focused on Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) and Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), both of whom have spoken out against Trump recently. In fact, a speech by Flake on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday went viral on social media for its pointed and poignant opposition to President Trump and all he stands for.
Suddenly, all those “fake news” polls Trump laughed about when they said he had no chance of beating Hillary Clinton are all to be trusted now. Flake could never have won without his endorsement, according to Trump, who has yet to make up a schoolyard bully nickname for the Arizona senator.
The drama continues, and Twitter users felt obliged to join the party.
