Kellyanne Conway made an appearance on CNN’s Reliable Sources with host Brian Stelter, where she set the bar lower than ever before by telling Stelter to “stop being jealous of Fox News,” while deflecting the question she’d been asked.
The White House counselor known for her generous use of deflection paired with “alternative facts” appeared on CNN once again, despite insisting that it is, as her overlord says, “fake news.”
During Kellyanne’s segment, host Brian Stelter brings up the “credibility crisis” within the White House, noting how low Trump is rating both in polls and low approval ratings, saying:
‘His approval ratings are shockingly low, it’s a problem, not just for you and for me but for the nation, that this president isn’t trusted by the American people.’
Kellyanne’s conversational tactics for deflecting by changing the subject entirely emerged right away. Conway rebutting:
‘No, that’s wrong. You know what’s a problem for the nation? That you refused. CNN used to be a place where people can tune in and get the news all day long. Now they get spin and people’s opinions and I think CNN should own it. Brian, why not just say, “look, it’s in our commercial interest at CNN to be anti-Trump. We’re profitable if we’re against the president. Most of our viewers are against the president.” Just own it. Don’t you think that would be more credible for CNN than pretending that you’re straight down the middle?’
CNN being accused of using too much “spin” and “opinion” by Kellyanne Conway couldn’t possibly funnier to those of us that are paying attention. Let us not forget that Conway was vocally against Donald Trump until he hired her, because if one thing is true about Kellyanne Conway it’s that she most certainly can be bought.
You can see what Conway had to say about Donald Trump before he started lining her pockets in the Youtube video compilation below:
Stelter seemed to expect Kellyanne’s deflection and quickly responded:
‘I understand that you don’t want an adversarial media. I guess you just want everyone to be like Fox News’
At that point, Conway went into meltdown mode and started shaking her head quickly, speaking over the CNN host, while saying:
‘No! I want an honest media. No, that’s not true. Stop being so jealous of Fox News, Brian, and their ratings. I think that would help, if you dropped the jealousy a little bit about Fox News.’

Conway insisted that CNN was unnecessary to the American public, unlike the president’s Twitter account.
‘The country doesn’t need you to spin and filter what the president just said anymore. They read his tweets when you read his tweet. It is a democratization of information.’
A lot of people still don’t understand why someone who has proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that she has absolutely no qualms about lying, and even coined a new term for the lies, in the form of “alternative facts,” is stil being given airtime. Here are some Twitter responses that touch on why Kellyanne is invited on TV.
