Everything seemed to be going well for Jared Kushner, senior adviser to to President Trump, until he got all tied up in Donald Trump’s messy presidency. Last week Kushner was sued for inflating rent rates and effectively stealing from tenants in New York. Then, just a few days later, Senate Judiciary Committee leaders exposed the fact that Kushner was withholding Russia and WikiLeaks related documents from Congress.
Now in the hot seat, Jared Kushner may not have just told on himself, but also indirectly ratted out Donald Trump.
According to Vanity Fair, Kushner said that he is concerned that Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel may “get” Trump. This comment undoubtedly begs the question: What does Kushner mean by “get” Trump? Common sense tells us that that, in context, Kushner is concerned about Trump being caught. And if he’s concerned about Trump being caught, two conclusions can be drawn:
First, Trump must have done something that has elicited the need for him to be caught. Second, Kushner must be aware of what Trump has done: Otherwise, how could he express concern about it?
Initially, Jared Kushner was tasked with an extensive list of responsibilities. Kushner was supposed to pursue peaceful relations in the Middle East, and work to soothe the worsening opioid epidemic.
However, now he assumed a “reduced role” in the White House.
Vanity Fair’s report regarding Kushner’s concern about whether not the Mueller investigating will “get” Trump definitely illustrates the fact that the senior adviser is sweating the special probe into the 2016 election.
To make matters worse of the Trump Administration, this report only adds to the growing list of suspicious details regarding the Trump Campaign’s and Administrations’ relationship to the Russian government.
Of course there was Trump’s suspicious timing of ex FBI director James Comey, who was tasked with spearheading the investigation into possible collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and the Russian government. Robert Mueller has since opened an obstruction of justice case against Donald Trump in regards to the nature of James Comey’s expulsion.
Then, George Papadopoulos admitted to lying to the FBI out of “loyalty for Trump.” Next, Donald Jr released a series of Twitter DM’s he’d exchanged with the WikiLeaks Twitter account, and the meeting he had last year with a Russian lawyer is under further scrutiny by the Mueller investigation.
A recent report also revealed that several prominent members of the GOP had accepted millions of dollars from a Ukrainian born and Putin affiliated billionaire.
NY Daily uncovered that a billionaire Russians’ yacht was parked at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, and the president went out of his way to defend Putin, saying that Russian President “means it,” when he says that he didn’t interfere with the U.S. election.
Seeing that new evidence between the Russians and Trump’s affiliates seems to emerge everyday, you can’t blame Kushner for being worried that Mueller’s Special Counsel will “get” Trump.
