The KKK Just Responded To Trump’s Wednesday Morning Anti-Muslim Tweet

The man who was the grand wizard of the hate group, the Ku Klux Klan, David Duke, and Donald Trump have a major shared interest. The president could not bear to criticize hate groups that marched through the streets of Charlottesville carrying torches earlier this year, and Duke loved it. A new racist incident may be equally as bad for Trump.

The commander-in-chief retweeted three videos in the past 24 hours that claimed to show Muslim violence against non-Muslims. One supposedly said that it showed Muslim men killing a boy. Another claimed that Muslim immigrants beat up a boy on crutches, and a third supposedly showed a Muslim man destroying a religious statue. According to Bipartisan Report:

Duke is a dedicated white supremacist and a former U.S. representative for Louisiana. He tweeted, “Thank God for Trump” Wednesday. According to The Washington Examiner:

‘Trump retweets video of crippled white kid in Europe being beaten by migrants, and white people being thrown off a roof and then beaten to death, He’s condemned for showing us what the fake news media WON’T. Thank God for Trump! That’s why we love him!’

Deputy leader of Britain First HQ, Jayda Fransen, posted the three videos originally. She is an ultra-nationalist and has been arrested for harassing a Muslim. According to The Guardian, the courts found her guilty of “religiously aggravated harassment” of a woman wearing her hijab with her four children.

The Washington Examiner wrote:

‘One video showed a man led a teenage boy to the roof of a building and pushed him over the edge. He fell approximately two stories and a large group of men began kicking and punching him to death.

‘The second video — also shared by Fransen — showed another Muslim man holding a 3-foot-tall porcelain statue of the Virgin Mary. The man said something in Arabic then throws the religious item to the ground, breaking it into pieces.

‘A third video showed men described as Muslims attacking a man on crutches.’

British commentator, Piers Morgan, tweeted a message to Trump:

‘What the hell are you doing retweeting a bunch of unverified videos by Britain First, a bunch of disgustingly racist far-right extremists? Please STOP this madness & undo your retweets.’

The U.S. president ignored his advice.

After the Charlottesville incident, Donald Trump said that there were “good people on both sides,” and Duke loved it. According to CNN:

‘Thank you President Trump for your honesty & courage to tell the truth about #Charlottesville & condemn the leftist terrorists in BLM/Antifa.’

After the Charlottesville white supremacist march and the murder of a peaceful protester by a member of the white supremacist with his car, Duke said this, according to Business Insider:

‘We are determined to take our country back. We are going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump. That’s what we believed in. That’s why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said he’s going to take our country back.’
