Trump Furious Over Nikki Haley’s Support Of Accusers; Lashes Out Like A Loser

Allegations of sexual assault and misconduct have plagued multitudes of public figures for months. From Netflix, movie, and TV stars, to show hosts. However, no group has been as negatively impacted by these allegations, than politicians. Al Franken, John Conyers, Donald Trump, and Roy Moore are all American politicians who have recently been accused of sexual assault.

For Franken and Conyers, the assault allegations against them led to what very well be the end of their congressional careers. The pressure from their fellow congressmen and congresswomen resulted in both men resigning from their positions in office.

Roy Moore has continued to battle the allegations from multiple women, including the accusations that he sexually assaulted a 14 year old girl when he was in his 30s. Tomorrow, Alabamians will decide whether or not to hold the allegations against more and prevent him from becoming their new Senator when they cast their ballots.

However, one politician has seemingly evaded the potential backlash of the sexual assault allegations against him. This man is none other than Donald Trump. Although several women accused Trump of sexual misconduct while he was on the campaign trail pursuing the office of the presidency, these allegations all but disapearred when Trump took office.

Recently however, allegations of sexual assault against the president have resurfaced. The women, who have accused Donald Trump of actions such as touching, grabbing, and kissing, were promptly defended by former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who said that the women “should be heard.” Haley spoke about the allegations in an interview on CBS’s Face The Nation:

‘You know, that’s for the people to decide. I know that he was elected. But, you know, women should always feel comfortable coming forward. And we should all be willing to listen to them.’

Haley continued:

‘They should be heard, and they should be dealt with. And I think we heard from them prior to the election. And I think any woman who has felt violated or felt mistreated in any way, they have every right to speak up.’

It’s clear from her comments, that Haley strongly supports the ongoing #MeToo movement, and embraces the trend of women coming out to share their unfortunate experiences of sexual assault with the public. However, the Associated Press has reported that Donald Trump is angry with Nikki Haley because of her support for his accusers. The report comes from “two people who are familiar with his views but who spoke on condition of anonymity because they aren’t authorized to speak publicly about private conversations.”

Democrats within the Senate have joined forces in order to pressure President Donald Trump to step down. At the current time, it is unknown how or if Donald Trump will respond to Nikki Haley. However, Donald trump is facing pressure from many people besides the former governor of South Carolina, and a former U.N. Ambassador. Many Americans are becoming more aware of the pervasive incidences and allegations of sexual assault in modern politics.
