This week, President Trump made a startling statement in regards to nuclear war with North Korea. After Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, spoke about how the United States was in the line of fire by his nuclear weapons for his annual New Year’s address, Trump tweeted:
‘North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!’

This brought out an outpouring of outrage from America but most notably, the frontmn of Guns ‘N’ Roses had a few choice words to say about the situation.
This is not the first time the president of the United States has gone after the prime minister of Korea. The two have been at odds since Donald Trump was elected president; Trump referring to Kim Jong Un as “Rocket Man,” even though he wanted to discuss about resolving a peaceful resolution between the United States and North Korea. However, the statements made a day after 2018 begun a string of questioning behind President Trump’s line of thinking.
His mentally stability has been questioned and a number of lawmakers asked Yale psychiatrist Dr Brandy X. Lee about her opinion about the President’s mental health. She stated:
‘He’s going to unravel, and we are seeing the signs.’
This caused more than 100 psychiatrists to sign on to a statement believing that Donald Trump was “unraveling”
After the outcry of concern about whether or not President Trump was mentally fit to lead the United States, Trump’s press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders held a press conference today and stated that these accusations were “disgraceful and laughable.” Even so, the back and forth banter between President Trump and Kim Jong Un painted a different story; putting the United States in harm’s way of nuclear war while also instigating online arguments via twitter. Of course, this behavior led Americans to give their opinion about the New Year’s tweet but one celebrity took to the twitter and gave his opinion on the whole situation.
Guns ‘N’ Roses front man Axl Rose went on twitter after Sarah Huckabee Sander’s press conference today and gave his opinion on the matter. He said:
‘The WH is the current US gold standard of what can be considered disgraceful. Along with several other condescending adjectives the current WH has no room to call virtually anyone disgraceful.’
He voiced the opinions of many Americans who are concerned about the nuclear war that seems to be brewing between the United States and North Korea. The kind of behavior that Trump is displaying is a cause for concerns as tension begins to rise between the two nations; taunting the very man who has threatened to harm the lives of millions is not only unwise but seems to be more evidence needed that current president may not be in his right mind to lead an entire nation.
