Donald Trump has always been known for his tact and decorum when dealing with people. We’ve known all along that once he took office he would become this country’s most gifted speaker. His all-inclusive attitude toward people would enable him to care about the needs of all of America’s citizens, including those who would like to become legal Americans. At least that’s what he and his handlers would have you believe. In reality Mr. Trump is the exact opposite of the above description. His verbal miscues and outright racist statements are mind boggling.
The Washington Post reported Thursday that Mr. Trump was meeting with a group of bipartisan lawmakers in the Oval Office discussing protections for immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries as part of the new immigration deal. Trump, ever the well-spoken orator, exclaimed
Mr. Trump must have figured since he’d really stepped in it yet again he would double down on his idiotic comments by suggesting that we start accepting more people from countries like Norway instead, which for the record is about 91% white.
Showing his lack of restraint and impulse control Trump went on to tell lawmakers that Haitians must be left out of the immigration deal.
For a man who’s called a racist by someone every single day, one would think he would try his best to appear to be someone who cares about diversity. The very stable genius must have eventually figured that the statements from above put him in a bad light, because in an attempt to appear less racist he then said that he,
His comments Thursday have caused quite the stir around the country. Wanting to get in on the game of racist roulette, a White House spokesman said,
“Certain Washington politicians choose to fight for foreign countries, but President Trump will always fight for the American people,” spokesman Raj Shah said in a statement issued after The Washington Post first reported Trump’s remarks. “. . . Like other nations that have merit-based immigration, President Trump is fighting for permanent solutions that make our country stronger by welcoming those who can contribute to our society, grow our economy and assimilate into our great nation.”
Apparently Raj Shah doesn’t believe that people coming from “sh*thole” countries are capable of contributing to our society, assimilating here, or even have the ability to help grow our economy. The entire Trump administration is an embarrassment to this country. They’ve made us the laughing stock of the world. It’s a dark time in our history considering we have a president who has been cut from the same cloth as Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte.
When talking about Donald Trump’s near daily verbal faux pas’ Bipartisan Report writer Kendal Rooney said it best,
“While that’s certainly in line with what America has come to expect of President Trump, it’s hard not to be flabbergasted that he had the audacity to voice his bigoted beliefs in such a blunt and damaging way. Not only does he demonstrate that he has no sense of humanity or empathy with that remark, but he also demonstrates that he has little to no capacity to be diplomatic, nor does he likely understand what profound and devastating impacts such comments can have in terms of America’s foreign relationships and the effect that could have on absolutely every facet of society.”
As could be expected, Twitter has had a field day with Trump again.

.@POTUS isn’t just it out his depth, he’s doing severe and possibly lasting damage to our country. This is un-American. He must immediately apologize & Republicans must condemn these vile comments. Nothing less is acceptable. https://t.co/eDo7hZWiru 31ac729add94_story.html
