Donald Trump has repeatedly bragged about how he defeated a whole gaggle of Republican candidates to win the Republican nomination. He gave a whole host of them childish nicknames and made himself look foolish in the process. There was Little Marco Rubio, Lyin’ Ted Cruz, and 1 for 38 Kasich. One of Trump’s opponents still doesn’t seem to care for him very much.
In an apparent attempt to remain relevant, “low energy” Jeb Bush recently gave an interview to USA Today in which he slammed Donald Trump. Bush predicted that Republicans are in for a huge beating this November if voters stay focused on Trump’s childish shenanigans.
‘If the election is nationalized and it’s not about the economy, then we’ll lose.’
With all the high profile mistakes Trump keeps making how could voters not stay focused on him. Everything Trump does is designed to keep massive amounts of attention on himself. He takes to Twitter nearly every day to spout off a load of nonsense. He invents and advertises “fake news awards”, makes racists comments about other countries, and keeps a steady stream of lies and conspiracy theories flowing out of his mouth.
‘The character of the guy and the (turnover) and fighting, and just the constant chaos around his presidency that is self-inflicted has made it hard for him,’ Bush said. ‘I want the president to succeed. I don’t think he will succeed if he continues on this path.’
Readers can rest assured knowing that Trump will definitely continue on the same path he’s on. He can’t help himself, and that should mean very good things for Democrats come November. People are mad about Donald Trump and his failed leadership, and the Republicans who are protecting him could pay a very steep price when voters go to the polls. There’s a blue wave coming and it will be glorious when it arrives.
