Mike Pence Hilariously Stumped By Reporter – Refuses To Answer Question (VIDEO)

When Donald Trump picked Mike Pence to be his vice president, it was seen, by some, as a strategic move. Trump absolutely needed the evangelical vote, and there’s no one more pious than baby-boy, Mother-worshipping Mike Pence.

Normal duties of a vice president would include serving as the President of the Senate, counting electoral votes, and the stand-in for the president if he’s ever deemed unfit to serve (or assassinated). They, of course, have their own projects and initiatives they deal with along with pushing the party platform. They need to be aware of the inner workings of the administration they serve in.

However, Pence is the vice president in an administration wrought with conflict, drama, and scandal. It’s actually hard to imagine Pence being able to stand in the same room with Trump considering how pious Pence seems to be.

You would think Pence would be counseling the president and his senior staff. After all, he has been in politics and is about the only “qualified” politician in the White House at this point. The problem is, however, Pious Pence never knows what the heck is going on.

That was proven today after it was discovered he just learned of the news that everyone has known about Trump’s White House staff secretary Rob Porter being an “alleged” wife beater.

Pence, who is currently in Asia for the Winter Olympics, was asked by a reporter about the allegations against Porter.

Pence danced around the question and served up word salad that did little to answer the question. He commented:

‘We’re on our way to the Olympics, and I learned as I awoke this morning of those developments, so we’ll comment on any issues affecting White House staff when we get back to Washington.’

Another reporter asked him why he seemed to be out of the loop and noted this was not the only time Pious Pence was left behind.

‘This is now a number of times when you’ve found out … about something very late, after a number of other senior staff below you in the West Wing have found out about it. Can you comment on why you often seem a little bit out of the loop on some of this major news?’

Good question. Why does Pious Pence always seem to be a step behind everyone else? Is Mother shielding him from the corruption and tainted ways of the Trump administration?

Pence responded to the question basically by ignoring the question. Pence remarked:

‘You know, it’s a great honor for me to serve as vice president, and President Trump has been incredibly generous with the responsibilities and opportunities he’s given me to serve, representing the United States on the foreign stage as we have here in Japan as we will later today in South Korea and of course at the Olympics … and also being involved in the legislative process, and I’m very grateful for that.

‘But, we will leave those White House staffing matters for when we get back to Washington.’

How come it sounds like Pious Pence is playing Scarlett O’Hara and declaring, “Fiddle dee dee. I’ll think about that tomorrow”? Seriously, he didn’t even try to dance around the question. He refused to answer it and instead talked about the gratitude he feels for Trump.

It answers nothing about the deep issues behind the allegations regarding Porter. White House Chief of Staff John Kelly supposedly knew about the allegations for months. Furthermore, when asked about the allegations, Kelly defended Porter.

Although many hoped John Kelly’s presence in the White House would bring some calm to the chaos, it’s now even more apparent that will never happen. Along with hiding important information from the president, he’s defending wife beaters.

What does it say about an administration when the #2 guy in charge has no clue what’s going on? Pious Pence is in the dark when he should have his finger on what’s going on. However, he’s either happily ignorant or safely shielded by Mother.
