It’s been rumored almost since Rex Tillerson was appointed Secretary of State. Now, the man who recognized that Trump is a “moron” with absolutely no clue how to lead the country is out, and a new secretary of state is in.

The Washington Post reports that Trump announced:
‘I am proud to nominate the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, Mike Pompeo, to be our new Secretary of State. Mike graduated first in his class at West Point, served with distinction in the U.S. Army, and graduated with Honors from Harvard Law School. He went on to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives with a proven record of working across the aisle.’

The announcement comes as Trump plans negotiations with North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un and the day after
Tillerson broke with the White House to lay the blame on Russia and Vladimir Putin for the poisoning of a man and his daughter in the UK. Trump thanked Tillerson “for his service,” but gave no reason for the change.
