People have been shaking their heads at Donald Trump’s latest antic. Every day, another one of his administration drops out of sight. Now, he just blasted Secretary State Rex Tillerson out of his job. Trump’s home-town newspaper’s cover said it all.
The newspaper poked fun at the Trump administration via Twitter for his revolving White House door:
‘Another one bites the dust.’

The paper dusted off its July cover, which was a takeoff on the reality show, Survivor. It featured images of Trump’s top administration members dressed for the jungle, which the White House clearly is.
In the updated version, the NY Post cover shows a big red X over the faces of the president’s former chief of staff Reince Priebus, communications director for a few days Anthony Scaramucci, and his former top strategist Steve Bannon.
The newspaper placed an X on Tillerson, too, after Trump cowardly tweeted the man his pink slip. The commander-in-chief already had a replacement for Tillerson waiting, CIA Director Mike Pompeo. The president tweeted:
‘Mike Pompeo, Director of the CIA, will become our new Secretary of State. He will do a fantastic job! Thank you to Rex Tillerson for his service! Gina Haspel will become the new Director of the CIA, and the first woman so chosen. Congratulations to all!’
Ever since Tillerson called Trump a “moron” last summer, which he never denied, the president had it in for his secretary of state. The two men have wrangled in the months since over a variety of issues.
Trump undermined Tillerson at every turn, and the former secretary disagreed over how Trump handled the recent poisoning of a former Russian spy in the UK, and North Korea.
Contrary to being dejected, Tillerson appear quite happy.
