The Trump Administration continues to find itself in hot water related to a whole array of scandals — including that over his relationship with porn star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.

As it was reported earlier this year, his personal lawyer Michael Cohen facilitated a payment of $130,000 to Clifford. In the time since those reports, Clifford has sued Trump, claiming that the nondisclosure agreement she signed in  should be considered invalid because the president himself never signed it.

To be clear, there is not a line on the agreement for a person named Donald Trump to sign — there was, however, a spot for someone named David Dennison to sign.

Dennison has been widely reported and understood at this point to refer to the president. However, the going line from the Trump administration has been that the president had nothing to do with the agreement or the hush money.

Now, however, the president admitted to being the man behind the alias David Dennison.

In a court filing produced just a few days ago, the president is identified as having the alias of David Dennison.

This admittance on his part certainly complicates things for him, since he can no longer claim to be separate from the whole thing.

Michael Avenatti, who is serving as a lawyer for Clifford, says he has reason to believe that not only was the president aware of the hush money and NDA, but that he was also aware of a threat made against Clifford meant to keep her quiet.
