The president’s patience with Mueller and the FBI is next to nothing, and extremely evident in his colorful tirades of complete and utter lies to the American people. Trump is seemingly starting to understand that the seriousness everyone has been stressing to him since before he was even elected was not something he is going to be able to use his money and popularity to get out of. It’s only a matter of time until this ship founders.
One of these tirades has recently gotten Trump into some hot water with people calling him on his false flag statements meant to enrage common Americans like the 40 plus percent of citizens who actually buy into his deceit.
The televised meeting was meant to be a release of information on Syria and quickly turned into Trump ranting about criminals breaking into his lawyer’s office to steal private conversations as part of some giant witch hunt to get him impeached.
Trump said this:
“I just heard that they broke into the office of one of my personal attorneys . . . it’s frankly a real disgrace. It’s an attack on our country in a true sense.”
The men at the table with the president were visibly uneasy with what was happening in what was certainly an unscripted moment. John Bolton and VP Mike Pence sat quietly, with almost no reaction as the president began unleashing a load of lies.
Now, what happened in the moments right after Trump learned of the FBI’s raid on Cohen’s hotel and office has now been leaked to the media. A Republican close to Trump said that Trump was furious upon hearing of the raid, saying about the president:
“He’s sitting there bitching and moaning. He’s brooding and doesn’t have a plan. I could see him having a total meltdown and saying, ‘Fuck it, I’m firing all of them.’ This is very dry tinder. If someone strikes a match to it, you could see it catching fire.”
