Donald Trump has certainly made the presidency very lucrative for himself. He spends so much time golfing at his own properties that he can’t find the time to do the people’s work. Of course every time he golfs it’s at one of the properties he owns, so in essence the taxpayers are making him wealthier with every trip he takes, and we get nothing in return.
Trump spent yesterday and today hosting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at Mar-a-Lago resort where they played a round at Trump International Golf Club. Trump tried to play it off like he was building great diplomatic relations, but we all know he could have done the same thing at the White House then over to Camp David for the golf, and it wouldn’t have cost the taxpayers millions of dollars in the process. But Trump doesn’t care because then the money wouldn’t have went straight into his bank account. He must think we’re fools to keep falling for his BS.

The “quick round of golf” actually wasn’t very quick, because the White House pool reporters said it actually took them just under five hours. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all do our “work” on a golf course somewhere and have someone give us millions of dollars in the process? It’s nice work if you can get it I guess. Hopefully, Trump’s problems with the Russia investigation and the Stormy Daniels situation will begin keeping him off the golf course and he’ll actually start having to work for us in the White House. Wouldn’t that be nice?
One has to wonder if the person who took the above picture asked Trump to show us what happens to the total in his bank account every time he golfs at one of his resorts…and he used his thumb to show which direction it goes.
The Twitterverse sure had fun with Trump’s latest post.
