Donald Trump is spending the day of former First Lady Barbara Bush’s funeral doing what he does best: hanging out at his golf course and Tweeting. He is literally combining the two activities, as seen in the photo below:

When Trump finally hit “tweet”, here’s what he had to share with the world:

Apparently, Trump got around to reading (or having someone else read to him) yesterday’s red-hot story by New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman. In it, she explained exactly why Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen is so likely to turn against Trump and testify against him. Remember, Cohen was raided last week in connection with campaign finance law violations as well as bank and wire fraud.

Haberman interviewed sources who shed light on Trump’s habitual treatment of Cohen:

‘“Donald goes out of his way to treat him like garbage,” said Roger J. Stone Jr.

‘“However, the president has also taken Michael for granted.” Mr. Nunberg added that “whenever anyone complains to me about Trump screwing them over, my reflexive response is that person has nothing to complain about compared to Michael.”

‘I think his abusive behavior to Michael is animated by his feeling that Michael is inadequate.’

One source described a specific instance of Trump demeaning Cohen:

‘Mr. Trump knocked the papers away, angrily telling Mr. Cohen to “get that out of my face,” said one former campaign official who witnessed the incident.’

Unsurprisingly, Haberman stands by her story. She responded to the president via Twitter, catering to his attention span:

Others took to Twitter to support Haberman and stand up to Trump’s lies:

It is unknown if Haberman’s scathing reply has effected Trump’s golf game today.
