In the first year of Trump’s presidency, the only two people in his administration more visible than him were his daughter, Ivanka, and son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Some of Ivanka’s most visible roles have caused great controversy, such as her appearance at the G-20 Summit when she sat in her father’s place at the table for world leaders while Trump was in meetings.
Kushner has stayed out of the public eye since his temporary security clearance was revoked, making it difficult for him to complete tasks such as bringing peace to the Middle East, which was one of his stated goals. As Kushner’s family businesses and his own actions during the Trump campaign became a focus of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the alleged collusion between the Trump 2016 presidential campaign and Russian government operatives, both he and Ivanka seem to be avoiding publicity altogether.
MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace reported on Tuesday that “the word I hear is that the kids have gone underground.” She discussed the Kushners sudden, strange absence in the Trump administration White House reporter for the Associated Press, Jonathan Lemire.
‘Look, there remains concern in the White House and outside among Trump allies — from all our reporting — about what Kushner’s exposure could be here.’

Kushner’s involvement in the scandals around Trump have already made him suspect. Not only did he attend the infamous June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russians tied to the Kremlin along with Donald Trump, Jr. and Paul Manafort, his own business ties, as well as his family’s, are one of the topics around which Mueller is asking questions.
https://t.co/QR0TfiVzCn Unequivocally, YES!!! However, @TamimBinHamad got an audience w/ @potus last week after he declined to turn over evidence against Kushner to the @TheJusticeDept & Mueller. Trump & Kushner can't align their strategies for world domination.
