As if it wasn’t embarrassing enough to any American citizen with some sense that Donald Trump is the president of the United States, he continues to humiliate himself and the American people with ridiculous statements and actions while in office.

After going to France and commenting on how “fit” Macron’s wife is, one would think that Trump couldn’t do any worse in a state visit at the White House with the French president. He proved that assumption wrong in the first fifteen seconds of his press conference with Macron in the Oval Office.

Trump first touted the “great relationship” he has with Macron and commented on how that relationship has been praised in the press, saying that “it’s not fake news, finally.” If that wasn’t bad enough in front of a foreign leader, Trump then humiliated himself even further.
‘We do have a very special relationship. In fact, I’ll get that little piece of dandruff off you. Little piece. We have to make him perfect.’
Next Trump will check the hem of B.Macron's dress to see if it is straight. I wish President Macron had uttered something in French under his breath, but he is a diplomat.

A United States president announced on camera to reporters and people watching around the world that a foreign leader had dandruff on his lapel and then brushed it off of him. It doesn’t get much more embarrassing than that groan-worthy move.

It isn’t enough that the world sees the U.S. with a president who routinely lies to them – Trump even bragged and laughed that he lied to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau – and is caught up in scandal after scandal with the Russian collusion investigation, numerous affairs while married, and his endless lies and misleading statements to the American people. We now have to also be ashamed of the president’s utter inability to be diplomatic or presidential in front of other world leaders on camera in the White House.
