With the current state of affairs throughout the world, there’s plenty to worry about. No matter what you believe should be done, something needs to be done about Assad’s regime and the treatment of their own citizens. There’s also ISIS to worry about. There’s also the talks going on between North Korea and South Korea regarding North Korea’s nuclearization status, and let’s not even get started on the subject of Russia.

“President” Donald Trump’s administration has plenty on their plate of foreign affairs. However, they have one huge issue they are making a big deal about, and it’s absolutely frivolous.

Trump took to Twitter on Thursday to issue a strong warning to the international community. If they won’t back the American bid for hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2026., we won’t support them.

He tweeted:

‘The U.S. has put together a STRONG bid w/Canada & Mexico for the 2026 World Cup. It would be a shame if countries that we always support were to lobby against the U.S. bid. Why should we be supporting these countries when they don’t support us (including at the United Nations)?’

Really Trump? REALLY? This is what we have to worry about? You are being investigated by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, your personal lawyer’s office was raided by the FBI, and the Supreme Court is hearing the case on your precious Muslim ban, but by God, Americans will have their soccer tournament!

First off, if it’s not an NFL championship, the majority of Americans may not care. Soccer is behind American football, baseball, and basketball in popularity. Its popularity is growing; however, it is far from the most popular sport in America.

Trump would do himself much justice if he’d just straight up worry about his own worries. You know, worries like the Russian investigation, the Stormy Daniels’ scandal, and the actual affairs of America and the international community.
