Social media has been used for both good and bad things. The advent of social media has allowed everyday people to stand up against injustice. It gives them a voice they can use to right a bunch of wrongs. The biggest injustice caught on camera this week was a racist lawyer going off on workers at a Fresh Kitchen in New York, after they had the audacity to speak Spanish in his presence. Of course, the video went viral, and today he got some comeuppance for his racist tirade, after his landlord evicted him from the building where he has his law office.
Hayim Grant, the president of Corporate Suites, which operates the business center where Schlossberg used to have his office, said he was shocked by the video and that:
‘[Schlossberg’s] actions are just not consistent with our community and rules and regulations … It’s totally contrary to everything we believe in as a company and personally.’
The New York Post reported that the eviction came up at the same time as Congressman Adriano Espaillat and Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. filed a complaint against Schlossberg to the New York State Unified Court System’s Departmental Disciplinary Committee — calling on the panel to investigate the attorney and possibly revoke his license.
Aaron Schlossberg’s ignorant, racist tirade is going to cost him big. Not only did he lose his office space, but he could lose his license to practice law altogether. Schlossberg, who people are calling the racist lawyer bro, got what he deserved for his childish outburst. There’s no place in this country for backward, idiotic people like him, and the good side of social media has everything to do with the trouble he finds himself in today. Good riddance!
This video from Inside Edition has other racist tirades he’s been involved in.
