Donald Trump Jr. did not fall far from Donald Trump Sr.’s wheeling-and-dealing tree. Ivanka Trump was always her father’s favorite child. Maybe due to that, Donald Jr. worked especially hard to copy his old man’s business M.O. (modus operandi), and the result was chilling.
The younger Donald met with Israeli businessman, Joel Zamel, before his father’s 2016 presidential election. Unfortunately, for Don Jr., the businessman was a bad actor.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller has been investigating Zamel.  The Israeli businessman owns a private intelligence firm, Psy Group, Psy Group, and a crowdsourced analysis firm, Wikistrat.
Psy Group apparently does private intelligence work in competition with an Israeli intelligence firm, Black Cube. The Israeli firm has been associated with filmmaker Harvey Weinstein.. He used the company, hoping to impede investigations into his alleged sexually abusive behavior.
Zamel’s other company, Wikistrate, analyzes geopolitical concerns, and hired expert analysts manage the data.
Mueller’s team’s interest in the Israeli’s two companies grew out of the special counsel’s investigation into a conspiracy between Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential election campaign and Russia. It attacked the American election in 2016.
The Wall Street Journal checked out a subpoena for Zamel’s companies and their marketing materials, too. The Journal discovered that Psy Group’s services included intelligence-gathering via romantic or sexual relationships.
The company’s marketing materials advertised “strong operating capabilities within the ‘Deep Web’ and Darknet. The latter was sometimes called the “Dark Side” of the Internet.
The younger Trump met with Zamel at Trump Tower before the 2016 presidential election, according to The New York Times. A senior adviser to the crown princes of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, George Nader, also showed up at the Trump Tower meeting.
Education Secretary Betsy DeVos’ brother and private security contractor, Erik Prince, apparently arranged the meeting for August. Prince founded Blackwater.
Blackwater mercenaries operating in Iraq, reportedly killed 20 Iraqi civilians. During the horrific event, a mother and her child burned to death in a car fire. Nonpolitical Brookings Institute reported:
‘The Iraqi government and populace exploded with anger. Despite its mission of guarding U.S. officials in Iraq, Blackwater had no license with the Iraqi government. Secondly, the murky legal status of the contractors meant they might be considered exempt from Iraqi law because of a mandate left over from the Coalition Provisional Authority, the U.S. governing authority in Iraq that was dissolved more than two years prior.’
Nader supposedly told the president’s eldest son that the crown princes were more than willing to help his father win in 2016. However, Prince refused to comment.
Trump Jr.’s attorney, Alan Futerfas, released a statement to the Times that read:
‘Prior to the 2016 election, Donald Trump Jr. recalls a meeting with Erik Prince, George Nader and another individual who may be Joel Zamel. They pitched Mr. Trump Jr. on a social media platform or marketing strategy. He was not interested and that was the end of it.’
The man sitting in the Oval Office called the Times report a “long & boring story” in one of his morning tweets:
‘Things are really getting ridiculous. The Failing and Crooked (but not as Crooked as Hillary Clinton) @nytimes has done a long & boring story indicating that the World’s most expensive Witch Hunt has found nothing on Russia & me so now they are looking at the rest of the World!’
