Trump Finance Policy Suffers Dramatic $16.6 Billion Implosion; He’s A Failure (DETAILS)

The current administration, namely it’s leader, have ruined the United States’ relationship with an allied  country and Trump still says it’s a great move for the U.S.

After the announcement was made that the United States plans to impose tariffs on aluminum and steel imports to the European Union, Canada, and Mexico, Canada is taking action. According to Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland, Canada will impose what is being called retaliatory tariffs on $16.6 billion worth of exports from the U.S. It will also challenge the steel and aluminum tariffs under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

On Thursday Freeland told reporters:

‘This is the strongest trade action Canada has taken in the post-war era. This is a very strong response, it is a proportionate response, it is perfectly reciprocal.’

‘This is a very strong Canadian action in response to a very bad U.S. decision.’

If the U.S. refuses to lift its own tariffs, then the Canadian tariffs will take effect and remain in place beginning July 1.

Two lists of U.S. products were released by the Canadian government. The first list proposes a 24% tariff  and the second a 10% tariff.

The Trump administration just effectively cost the U.S. billions since the largest exporter of steel to the U.S. is Canada.

The Canadian Prime Minister took to his Twitter account, knowing that is Donald Trump’s favorite form of communication, to announce the tariffs Canada will be imposing. You can see his tweets below:
