Events Surrounding Infamous G7 Summit Pic Revealed & Include Trump Throwing Candy

This is the weirdest thing an American president has ever done to a foreign leader in the history of human existence. Our president’s ridiculousness is now immeasurable, as the reasoning behind the looks on the faces of our closest allies in the now infamous G7 Summit image that Angela Merkel posted to her Instagram page, is finally revealed.

Now we know that in the moments after this picture was taken, Donald Trump threw a couple of Starburst candies to Angela Merkel and said:

“Don’t say I never gave you anything.”

This happened in real life. Can you even imagine President Obama doing something so juvenile?

According to CBS News’ Ian Bremmer:

“Trump was sitting there with his arms crossed, clearly not liking the fact that he felt like they were ganging up on him. Eventually he agreed. He said, okay I’ll sign it.”

He continued:

“At that point, he stood up, he put his hand in his suit jacket pocket and he took two Starburst candies out, threw them on the table and said to Merkel, ‘Here, Angela, don’t say I never gave you anything,’”

Trump ended up removing himself from the G7 Summit soon after the incident took place, but according to Bremmer, the image perfectly shows the “broken” relationship between Trump and Merkel, adding:

“His personal relationship with Merkel is deeply broken. The leaders obviously do not respect each other.”
