Donald Trump loses more employees than your average McDonald’s. No one wants to work with or for him, and we’ve never seen this kind of turnover in a presidential administration in our nation’s history.
The Financial Times reported this week that Everett Eissenstat, a senior White House adviser who serves on both the National Economic Council and the National Security Council, will be fleeing the failing Trump administration next month.
Eissenstat served as Trump’s top official at the G-7 earlier this month in his position as Deputy Director of the Economic Council. While he said he was leaving for family reasons and not as a protest towards Trump, the embarrassment he suffered at the G-7 in Canada couldn’t have made him feel very good.
Trump went up there and turned our allies into enemies and made a total fool of himself, which must have really embarrassed Eissenstat. He’s the kind of man used to working in a professional environment, but since he took the White House post he’s been surrounded by a moving clown show.
Previously Eissenstat worked for Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT). Hatch praised Trump for hiring Eissenstat saying that it proved Trump was serious about making intelligent trade decisions. But as we all know, Trump doesn’t deal in intelligence.
Many people around the Trump administration think the loss of Eissenstat will have a detrimental effect, but since Trump doesn’t listen to him, it shouldn’t have that big of an impact. Eissenstat was probably just disillusioned working for a man who has no common sense.
