Thursday afternoon a deranged armed terrorist shot up a Annapolis, Maryland newsroom, killing five and wounding even more. The shooter’s motive was reportedly a defamation lawsuit he filed against the Capital Gazette, which was thrown out of court for lack of rebuttal evidence.

Now, the newspaper has issued an announcement, just hours after the bloodshed that claimed so many lives.
According to ABC 7 Chicago’s Joshua McKerrow:

The shooter will not win. The publication will carry on. Terrorists will not reach their goal.
