According to Trump’s supporters, if you can’t speak English, you shouldn’t be allowed in the country. If you can’t write English, you should be elected to the White House.
Once the person running the social media posts for dictionary.com stopped laughing long enough, they responded by throwing some shade on Twitter.

Trump took a lot of heat for his ridiculous bragging about his writing abilities in a tweet riddled with misspellings and poor grammar, perhaps none quite as fun as the veiled reference to his idiocy by the dictionary Twitter page.
This isn’t the first time a dictionary account has called out Trump. After his mysterious “coffee” tweet, Merriam-Webster was at a loss.

Dictionaries have also called out Trump for his numerous misuses of “counsel” and “council” and misspellings of simple words like “leightweight,” “chocker,” and his claim to have invented the phrase “priming the pump.” Trump has truly made a dictionary website social media manager’s job far more fun.
Kellyanne Conway was also shamed for her “alternative facts” quote, and Ivanka Trump got a lesson on the meaning of the word “complicit” after she claimed not to understand what the criticism meant. Vice President Mike Pence has not escaped the dictionary’s wrath, either, as dictionary.com sent him the definition of “sycophant.”
At this point, it isn’t even all that difficult to write jokes about this inept president. He writes the jokes himself.
