Trump Badmouths Prime Minister Teresa May In Direct Threat/Interview With U.K. Media

Donald Trump just made a complete fool of himself just hours into his U.K. trip. In probably the least clever of all his ridiculous moves, Trump thought it wise to bash the prime minister of the United Kingdom, Teresa May. And this wasn’t a light bashing. This was an all-out threat to her people.

Trump said to The Sun that May’s Brexit plan was too ‘soft,’ and would ‘kill’ future trade between the U.S. and U.K.:

“If they do a deal like that, we would be dealing with the European Union instead of dealing with the U.K., so it will probably kill the deal.”

In the interview, Trump claimed that he gave May advice on how to handle her issue, and can’t even fathom why she wouldn’t have listened to him considering his vast history in politics and government.

“I would have done it much differently. I actually told Theresa May how to do it, but she didn’t listen to me. She should negotiate the best way she knows how. But it is too bad what is going on.”

In another jab, Trump said he thought resigned Foreign Minister Boris Johnson would be a “great prime minister.”

May is facing backlash after Johnson’s resignation, making the following statement in support of her plan saying the new Brexit:

“Free trade agreement that creates jobs and growth here in the UK and right across the United States.”
