Donald Trump’s latest claim to victimization led him to post on Twitter another whining rant about how unfairly he and all Republicans are treated. Never mind that they currently hold a majority of seats in Congress as well as a president in the White House, these people believe they are truly oppressed.
It’s so odd that all of the Republicans complaining about these “shadow bans” on Twitter are complaining…on Twitter, where everyone can see their rants.
The fact that this is one of Trump’s major concerns and that it’s going to be an issue that Congress will mostly likely hold more hearings about at a time when so many other issues need to be addressed is truly indicative of the frivolousness and pettiness of the current GOP. Entire Congressional hearings have been held to investigate the unfairness of social media against Diamond and Silk as if all political news forums across the board aren’t being limited on Facebook thanks to attempts to combat Russian “fake news” that so plagued the 2016 presidential elections.
Of course, those efforts helped Donald Trump get elected, so it would make sense that he wants that to stop.
Trump’s constant interference and public comments about private businesses is truly unprecedented for a president of the United States. The fact that he can manipulate stock markets with his little Twitter rants is astounding. So much for small government, right?
