Trump Makes Public Statement About Manafort Verdict After Cohen Implicates Him In Felony

Donald Trump is having a really bad Tuesday. His former attorney just plead guilty to eight federal counts, and his former campaign manager was found guilty on eight federal counts. It’s not looking good for the president right about now, so naturally, he needed to get onto a public platform to let us all know that what has happened today has nothing to do with him, whatsoever.

Moments ago, Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen completely threw Trump under the bus when he claimed that it was the president who ordered him to commit a felony, and now, The Donald is giving interviews to reporters on his relation to Paul Manafort’s crimes.

Trump just said:

“I feel very badly for Paul Manafort. It doesn’t involve me, but I still feel it’s a very sad thing that happened. This has nothing to do with Russian collusion.”

Trump continued:

“I feel very badly for Paul Manafort — he worked Bob Dole, he worked for Ronald Reagan, he worked for many people, and this is the way it ends up. It was not the original mission, believe me. It was something very much different. So, with nothing to do with Russian collusion, we continue the witch hunt.”
