Donald Trump, the unindicted co-conspirator to Michael Cohen’s felonies, acts like he knows a lot about finances and how the financial world works. Unfortunately, he’s even more ignorant than most people who blather on about the subject. Today he posted a video to Twitter bragging and taking credit for the prosperous economy that started under President Obama, and detractors called him out quickly.

He starts out his blathering by saying that a lot of people were saying that his being elected would be the greatest thing to ever happen to our country. He then moves on to say that we’re in the greatest, longest, bull market in our history. He concludes by saying that he thinks his detractors should apologize to the American people for doubting him, and that we’re doing better financially than we’ve ever done before.
What a crock of horse dookey. Why doesn’t he tell all that to people working two full-time jobs and are still struggling to put food on the table, or people who can’t afford to send their kids to school, or afford health insurance? One can bet they don’t think we’re doing the best we’ve ever done.
Of course, Donald Trump had little to do with all the things he’s taking credit for. He fails to mention that our deficit has doubled under his leadership, wages are still stagnant, we’re in a trade war with the rest of the world, and that his tax scam is going to start hurting his supporters any time now. In fact it’s estimated that his trade war will cost the country around 400,000 jobs, and drive a lot of prices so high that normal people will have a hard time buying some things. Oh yeah and let’s not forget about all the pain he’s already brought down on a lot of farmers. To the people he’s hurting, his administration is the absolute worst thing that’s ever happened to this country…you can take that to the bank.
Check out what the Twitterverse said to him.
