The tell-alls and memoirs chronicling various aspects of life in President Donald Trump’s orbit keep piling up. There are books from former staffer Omarosa Manigault-Newman, famed journalist Bob Woodward — and now, there’s apparently one on the way from Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani’s soon to be ex-wife, Judith.

Her forthcoming book, which Page Six reports she’s been in talks with at least three publishing companies about picking up, will focus on the man she married some 15 years ago. However, Trump will also figure — for years now, the former New York City mayor has been a vocal ally of the habitually lying president, after all.

An anonymous source explained:

‘This isn’t going to be a salacious ‘In bed with Rudy’-type book, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t picking up the poison pen. Judith’s book will talk about how ‘America’s Mayor’ and his powerful friends operate, the secret deals and secret handshakes, what it is like being on the inside with Manhattan and D.C.’s power brokers. There is also much to discuss about Rudy’s relationship with President Trump, and how Rudy struggled after his own political ambitions to be president failed.’

Rudy’s relationship with the president included him becoming his lawyer earlier this year. He came on board with Trump facing the Russia investigation and Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and in the time since, he’s functioned as the public face of the president’s legal defense — or lack thereof.

He’s made his mark through such means as revealing that Trump reimbursed his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen for illegal hush money after all and making such assertions as “truth isn’t truth.” He offered the latter statement in the context of the ongoing struggle over whether the president will or won’t testify as part of Mueller’s investigation, insisting that the special counsel’s team would come up with their own “version of the truth” to trap the president in perjury.

Recently, he asserted that the president would answer no questions about potential obstruction of justice whatsoever, continuing on with his head-turning behavior and upping the ante of the president’s ongoing struggle with the legal system.

As he continues to press on in that realm, Judith’s book is on the way.

She’s asserted that he began to morph into the mess he is today after losing the Republican primary race for president in 2008.

She explained:

‘The man that he is now is absolutely not the man he was when I married him… For a variety of reasons that I know as a spouse and a nurse, he has become a different man.’

Interestingly enough, the Judith-Rudy relationship isn’t even the first high profile marriage that has ended up in the spotlight in connection to Donald Trump’s rise to power.

Trump’s one-time communications director Anthony Scaramucci’s wife Deidre Ball filed for divorce last year, citing tension over Scaramucci’s allegiance to the Trump administration that led him to take a White House job without telling her — but the two of them ended up staying together.

Donald Trump Jr., however, hasn’t had such fortunes. His wife Vanessa filed for divorce this year, and the two of them are for now going through with it.

The struggling marriages are a small snapshot of the tension wrought by the Trump administration.
