Joe Biden Just Responded To Trump’s Claims That Only 18+ People Died In Puerto Rico

Donald Trump made a complete ass of himself today, as he does every other day he decides to take to his personal Twitter account to say things that no American president should ever say. Like Thursday morning when he tweeted that the George Washington University study that found Puerto Rico’s death toll to be 3,000, almost the exact same as September 11th.

Trump said this Thursday morning:

“3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. When I left the Island, AFTER the storm had hit, they had anywhere from 6 to 18 deaths. As time went by it did not go up by much. Then, a long time later, they started to report really large numbers, like 3000.”

Even George Washington University itself has responded to the president’s disgusting remarks:

Now, Joe Biden has pitched his opinion on what the president said about the tragic outcome of that fateful storm. As usual, Biden is on point. He said this moments ago while speaking at the “Building a High Wage America.”

“By the way, there are no problems in America. Everybody is doing well. Things are fair and decent, and no one died in Puerto Rico. The lack of a value set, lack of treating people with dignity is because when things are tough for people economically who work hard, there are sometimes charlatans who come along who try to find a reason for those people to blame whatever’s happening to them on the other.”
