The Republican controlled congress is so intent on putting an extremist justice on the Supreme Court that they’ll even consider ignoring that Brett Kavanaugh has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the past. Dr. Christine Blasey Ford accused Kavanaugh of attacking her at a high school party many years ago, and she’s willing to testify under oath about what happened. Now alumnae of Ford’s high school have signed a letter stating that they believe Ford’s accusation, and one of the signers is non-other than actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
I was class of ‘79 & signed this letter. https://t.co/5ssttu9uzT

A draft of the letter from the group of more than 200 women — from classes 1967 to 2018 at the private school says,
‘We are alumnae of Holton-Arms School, and we are writing in support of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, a fellow Holton graduate.
We believe Dr. Blasey Ford and are grateful that she came forward to tell her story. It demands a thorough and independent investigation before the Senate can reasonably vote on Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to a lifetime seat on the nation’s highest court.
Dr. Blasey Ford’s experience is all too consistent with stories we heard and lived while attending Holton. Many of us are survivors ourselves.’
Ford, who is a college professor in California, has to feel very supported that so many people openly stated that they believe her. The letter says that Ford’s story is “all too consistent with stories” the other alumnae heard and lived through while at that high school. Does that mean that there are many others who have been attacked by Kavanaugh too, or does it mean that sexual assault is common place at Holton?
If it’s the former could there be other accusers popping up within the next few days to accuse Kavanaugh too? One thing is certain though the Republican led senate apparently has no morals if they’d consider putting someone like Kavanaugh on the court for a lifetime appointment.
