Trump Attacks Dianne Feinstein On Twitter For Not Violating Alleged Victim’s Privacy

Donald Trump, a man who gleefully confessed that he’s gotten away with grabbing women “by the p*ssy” for years, is furious that his Supreme Court nominee may actually be held accountable for sexually assaulting a young woman. He’s so incensed that he’s now shifted to joining in on conspiracy theories in a reverse of his earlier statements that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford had a right to be heard.

Senator Feinstein did indeed hold a letter from Dr. Ford until shortly before the end of Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings without releasing it. She has explained several times why she did so, although Trump seems more intent on tearing down the hearings to force his nominee through than listening.

It is absolutely impossible that Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee were not informed that an accusation like this had been made. With a letter signed by 65 women that say they knew Kavanaugh in high school – they did not attend high school with Judge Kavanaugh since he went to an all-boys school – released just a handful of hours after the accusation went public, there’s no denying that they had been informed.

Once Dr. Ford’s name was made public, and no one is sure who leaked it, she had little choice but to address the situation. She wrote a compelling statement about what happened to her in high school and has agreed to testify before the Senate committee under certain provisions for her safety. This is still not good enough for the GOP, who continues to attack her, or for Trump supporters, who have claimed that she lay in wait for 30-plus years to get revenge for a foreclosure on her parent’s house that never happened, is an opportunist being paid by George Soros, and that she’s simply a liar who willingly put her own children in danger just for the attention.

Twitter was not pleased with Trump’s accusations, and they let him know about it. See some of their responses below:
