Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, showed the coaching he received from White House officials when he repeated key terms time after time on a recent Fox News interview. Republican senators have tried to reject the first woman to allege that the nominee sexually assaulted and attempted to rape her. They said her story was too thin, but they did not expect the most recent development.

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s attorney’s have “sworn and signed declarations” from four individuals who backed up her claims. They include her husband and three friends. The college professor accused the very drunk Kavanaugh of locking her in a bedroom, along with his friend. Then, she said he pinned her to the bed, ground himself against her, and tried to remove her clothing.

When he placed his hand over her mouth to muffle her screams, she thought he was going to inadvertently kill her. She escaped when the friend piled on top of them.

Adela Gildo-Mazzon has known Ford for 10-plus years and declared that she thinks of her as “a good friend.” In her declaration, she said that the two women were at a restaurant in June 2013 when Ford told her about the alleged assault. She called Ford’s attorneys to let them know Ford had told her about her experience five years ago. Gildo-Mazzon said:

‘During our meal, Christine was visibly upset, so I asked her what was going on. Christine told me she had been having a hard day because she was thinking about an assault she experienced when she was much younger. She said she had been almost raped by someone who was now a federal judge. She told me she had been trapped in a room with two drunken guys, and that she had escaped, ran away and hid.’

Koegler swore that he met both of the Fords when he was their son’s baseball coach over five years previously.

Ford told him about her sexual assault in 2016. They were talking about a student at Stanford University, Brock Turner, who received a light sentence for his sexual assault and attempted rape of an unconscious, intoxicated woman. Koegler said:

“Christine expressed anger at Mr. Turner’s lenient sentence, stating that she was particularly bothered by it because she was assaulted in high school by a man who was now a federal judge in Washington, D.C. Christine did not mention the assault to me again until June 29, 2018, two days after Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his resignation from the Supreme Court of the United States.’

That was when Ford sent him an email saying that the person who assaulted her was Donald Trump’s “favorite for SCOTUS.” In his return email, Koegler wrote:

‘I remember you telling me about him, but I don’t remember his name. Do you mind telling me so I can read about him?’

She emailed back “Brett Kavanaugh.”

One of Ford’s neighbors and friends declared that the professor told her about the assault in 2017. Rebecca White has been Ford’s friend for over six years and said:

”I was walking my dog and Christine was outside of her house. I stopped to speak with her, and she told me she had read a recent social media post I had written about my own experience with sexual assault. She then told me that when she was a young teen, she had been sexually assaulted by an older teen. I remember her saying that her assailant was now a federal judge.’

The professor’s husband, Russell Ford, spoke about when he found out about his wife’s sexual assault. He said it was “around the time we got married:”

‘I remember her saying that her attacker’s name was Brett Kavanaugh, that he was a successful lawyer who had grown up in Christine’s home town, and that he was well-known in the Washington D.C. community.’

She did not share the details of her traumatic experience until they went until couple’s therapy in 2012:

‘However, in the end she believed her civic duty required her to speak out. In our 16 years of marriage I have always known Christine to be truthful person of great integrity. I am proud of her for her bravery and courage.’
