Republicans are trying their damndest to push through Brett Kavanaugh’s vote despite outcries for an FBI investigation into the claims brought by Christine Blasey Ford and four other women that Kavanaugh has the ability to be a dangerous sexual deviant, as they learned through personal interactions with the federal judge.

The GOP says this is nothing more than a political attack to hold the seat open until 2020 when Democrats are hopeful Trump will be beat out for his seat int he Oval Office. That is literally what Lindsey Graham said Friday:

“What you want to do is destroy this guy’s life, hold this seat open and hope you win in 2020. You’ve said that, not me. You’ve got nothing to apologize for. When you see [Supreme Court Justices Sonia] Sotomayor and [Elena] Kagan, tell them that Lindsey said hello, ‘cause I voted for them.”

He continued:

“Boy, you all want power, God, I hope you never get it. I hope the American people can see through this sham.”

Now, Trump has sat for a quick White House interview with reporters in which he plays stupid and claims to have very little knowledge about what has happened this morning, like he wasn’t glued to his television for hours watching it all unfold:

Trump had this to say about Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony on Thursday, saying that he found her to be “very compelling,” then saying that Brett Kavanaugh’s performance was like nothing he’d ever seen, “it was incredible.”

Then, Trump was asked if he had considered replacing Kavanaugh during this process:
