Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and vice presidential running mate of the late Senator John McCain (D-AZ) has not gone completely underground since McCain lost the 2008 election to Barack Obama. In the last several years, she seems to be thrust into public view because of her children’s antics.
On Saturday, it was reported that Palin’s son Track Palin was arrested for a third time on domestic violence charges. In December 2017, Track was arrested on charges of beating his father and spent five days in jail. He had also been arrested in January 2016 on domestic violence and weapons charges for hitting his girlfriend Jordan Loewe, and had allegedly pulled a gun on her.
On Friday evening, state troopers arrived at the 29 year-old’s home in Wasilla, Alaska, and determined that he “assaulted an acquaintance at his residence.” According to US Weekly:
‘Track, 29, was placed under arrest for allegedly assaulting an acquaintance and taking away her phone when she attempted to call for help. He was also charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct and was held without bail.’
According to the dispatch report:
‘Palin was arrested for Assault IV (DV), Interfering with Report of a DV, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. Palin was remanded to MSPT where he was held without bail.’
Track’s sister Bristol Palin spoke about her older brother back in December, saying:
‘My brother is a grown man, and I really don’t have anything to even say about it. He’s an adult, and he makes his own decisions just like I make my own decisions.’
