Not surprisingly, it wasn’t enough for Mr. Trump to rant to the media on Monday about the Kavanaugh FBI investigation. During what was supposed to be a speech about the new trade deal with Canada and Mexico, he whined that “they didn’t have to treat Kavanaugh so viciously and so violently!” He also attacked reporters for doing their jobs, going so far as to interrupt a woman and yell over her.
Now, on Monday night, in attempts to inflate his ego even more, Trump decided he needed to brag on Twitter about the size of the crowd at his rally in Johnson City, Tennessee. He posted this fast-motion video, perhaps designed to inflate the actual size of his crowd of supporters.
WOW – THANK YOU TENNESSEE! pic.twitter.com/38UUDqfIz5

According to CBS News:
‘President Trump made the case to his supporters in Johnson City, Tennessee, Monday night that they need to turn out in November in order to protect his administration’s accomplishments since the 2016 presidential election. And if they don’t, he warned, Democrats will push their agenda of open borders and higher taxes.’
‘They’re trying to take what we did in ’16. … It was the greatest election victory in the history of our country.’
‘The rally comes as the president, at the request of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has directed the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to. At a press conference in the White House Rose Garden Monday, Mr. Trump said he wants a “comprehensive” investigation, and the FBI should interview “anybody,” within reason. On Monday night, Mr. Trump bemoaned how the Democrats are treating Kavanaugh, lamenting that they’re “trying to destroy a very fine person.”‘
Trump told his supporters at the rally:
‘Let’s see how it all works out, but I’ll tell you what: they’re trying to destroy a very fine person. We cannot let that happen.’
