Tonight, Donald Trump sat down with Trish Regan on day two of her debut show on Fox Business Network. As expected, he shamelessly plugged the interview ahead of time, with one of his usual Twitter advertisements:

The interview went just like you’d expect, with a series of softball questions ranging from his views on the 2018 midterm elections, to his relationship with Putin, and also his opinions on the upcoming 2020 Presidential elections.
When asked about the midterm elections, Trump completely disregarded the fact that many notoriously red states, including Texas, are seeing their Senate candidates practically neck and neck. He answered in his usual, clueless way:
‘Well first of all, it’s very exciting. And second of all, I think we’re going to do very well.’
He went on to say that he didn’t want to make predictions and then got off track to talk about his own poll numbers, and how “many cable news stations” lie to make him look bad.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Fox interview without bringing up President Obama, who Trump just can’t seem to stop talking about. He actually has the audacity to YET AGAIN take credit for the hard work that President Obama did for this country.

Then he goes on to blame Obama for everything going wrong right now because of policies that he, Donald Trump, has put in place:

The interview continues with Regan bringing up Russia, but while trying to defend his “relationship” with Putin, Trump makes it glaringly obvious that he’s trying, yet again, to deflect and play down the Mueller investigation. He also says, even though in past interviews he has admitted that he thinks Russia meddled in the 2016 election, that having a “good relationship with Russia would be a good thing, not a bad thing.”

Then he claims he told Putin, “No more meddling!” which we all know is a crock.

Finally, while discussing the 2020 Presidential election, Regan asks Trump what he thinks about the Democrats who might be running. What Trump says in response is shocking. Watch:

This interview was so ridiculous — it was like watching an SNL skit, only it was real life! Can you say, “narcissist?”
