Yesterday it was reported that packages containing explosive devices that were meant for the Obamas and the Clintons had been intercepted. In addition, packages meant for other top-ranking Democrats were also intercepted.
CNN reports:
‘CNN’s New York bureau in the Time Warner Center was evacuated after a package containing a bomb, addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan, was discovered, city and local law enforcement officials said.‘In addition, sources told CNN that a suspicious package intended for California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters was intercepted at a congressional mail screening facility in Maryland; New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo received what he said was a device at his Manhattan office; and the San Diego Union-Tribune evacuated its building after “suspicious looking packages” were spotted outside.’
This evening, it appears that another package meant for former Vice President, Joe Biden, is also suspected, but investigators have not found it yet.
According to Reuters:
‘U.S. federal investigators are trying to track down a suspicious package they believe was addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden, a federal official said on Wednesday.’
Evidently, this particular package was misaddressed and marked “return to sender,” but they haven’t been able to locate it as of this report.
