Lindsey Graham’s Campaign Finance Violations Just Came Back To Bite Him

In the lead-up to the corrupt 2016 election, Senator Lindsey Graham railed against Donald Trump. He even tried to warn us about how dirty he is, but now it appears that Graham might have been following in Trump’s footsteps with dirty Russian money and campaign finance violations.

The co-founder and lead investigator of TheDemCoalition, Scott Dworkin, has been investigating Graham and posted on Twitter recently that he found some sketchy things in his financial filings and even uncovered some Russian ties to boot.

Hmmm…wonder what those sketchy things might turn out to be? Maybe it’s the $800,000 that Graham’s political action committee took from Len Blavatnik, a citizen of the US and UK who emigrated from the USSR in the 1970s with his family and returned to Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union?

Blavatnik is the business partner of Viktor Vekselberg in Rusal, the world’s second-largest aluminum manufacturer, which was founded by Oleg Deripaska. Vekselberg is the Russian billionaire who was discovered in May to have been funneling secret payments to former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen through the same shell company that Cohen set up to disburse payments to Trump’s mistresses.

Deripaska is the Putin ally who worked with former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort to lobby the United States in efforts that would benefit Putin’s Kremlin. Deripaska’s name came up in the Paul Manafort trial after Mueller’s investigators discovered that Deripaska had loaned Manafort ten million dollars.

What is it with Republicans and dirty Russian money? The way they keep getting caught with their hands in the proverbial Russian cookie jar, you’d think they’d quit accepting money from them, but Republicans really don’t care about what’s best for this country. They only care about one thing…winning elections. And they’ll get down and dirty to do it, even going so far as to sell out their own country in the process.

It seems the Twitterverse really wants Scott Dworkin to continue investigating corrupt Republicans.
