A political terrorist or terrorists sent out a total of seven bombs six bombs to top Democratic leaders, a major donor, and CNN. What they had in common was that each was a critic of Donald Trump. The president waited to hold a press conference, as people across the country anticipated his leadership, then this happened.
Melania Trump took the podium and urged the country to come together peacefully. Then, she began talking about one of her primary projects, the opioid crisis. ALT-Immigration was stunned and tweeted:
‘Why the f….. is she making a statement about today’s targeted silencing terrorist campaign next to the one who instigated it?’
When the first lady finished, her husband took the stage and congratulated her for her efforts. People in the room were a bit taken aback. Where was the president’s outrage? Where was his condemnation? Where was his mention of the bomb that went to CNN?
The New York officials said that the message begins at the top. What they meant was that Donald Trump needed to cut back on his inflammatory language during his ramped up political rallies. The commander-in-chief lied in one of them, saying that major Democratic donor George Soros was responsible for starting the caravan of people walking away from violence and toward what they hope will be a sanctuary. Right after, Soros received a bomb.
During the press conference, Trump stood on stage and spoke very briefly, clearly with no feeling behind the words someone wrote for him. He looked more like a chastised child than the leader of the free world.
Vice President Mike Pence was the first to send out a response to the terrorism:
‘We condemn the attempted attacks against fmr Pres Obama, the Clintons,
@CNN & others. These cowardly actions are despicable & have no place in this Country. Grateful for swift response of@SecretService,@FBI & local law enforcement. Those responsible will be brought to justice.’
Trump retweeted Pence’s message and added three words. He might as well have said “ditto.”
